Are you a college student right now looking for a credit card? If you are, you have probably entered this page because you are looking for student credit card with low APR. Well, instead of showing you cards that have a low APR that you may already know, I will explain to you why the APR should not a matter when you are a student.
If you are not familiar with the APR on the card, this is an interest that you will be charged on unpaid balances. For example, let's say your balance is $200 and you only pay $100. You are going to pay interest on that $100. Many students have the mis-conception that is not true at all like they have to pay interest regardless of how they use their cards.
Always pay your bill in full
I do not care if your interest rate is just 2% or even 100% , but when it comes to paying your credit card bill, you will not pay a dime in interest rates to the bank as long as you pay in full. I say it is only a matter if you get 0% but most likely you will not find this unless it is a teaser rate. Now does an APR really a matter for you?
0% cards can be found but once again, you should read the fine print because you will know that you will get that rate on either a balance transfer or any other for the first 6 - 12 months. Now, I'm not saying you need a lawyer but a simple glance at the terms and conditions should give a better idea for you of what the card is all about.
So, if you are looking for a low interest rate student credit card, I would recommend you to check the card is it benefit you with rewards rather than the interest rate itself, because that should not a matter. With some cards on the market, do your homework and find the best card for you.

Thx u for your nice article.. :)
Well buddy i would like to congratulate you that you are going to be the part of this community. I hope that it 'll be a nice experience for you.
Owch! what should i do..what should i do
See! when using credit cards we have to spend only for our capacity, if you spend more then only you will get problem. don't be non paid in Credit Cards, just please have track record of spending with Credit cards, just have a knowledge how much you spent daily. other wise on the billing date you will get more tense and shock!!!
I accept the above commenter & if we pay bill on time then no need to worry about interest and we dont need APR for us. They may give 0% to attract the customers, but no use if you pay bill at your time, we should know our capacity, budjet, income etc and then only we need to spend if through credit card or direct money etc. Creditability is an important thing for our financial face, dont loose it ever.
There is no reason to apply for credit cards that force you to pay annual fees. There are plenty of credit cards on the market that don't have this policy. The Best Credit Cards For Students are cards that don't expect students to keep up with annual fees. That is a deterrent to attracting students. Students don't need extra fees tacked onto their bills. It's a challenge already for students just paying off what they bought.
After reading the article, I don't know what can i do know,aha...
thanks for the article
really nice
I totally agree with this one "Always pay your bill in full"
:)
I agree. People always complain that they cannot afford to pay it in full. This irritates me, because if they cannot pay it in full then they should not be using the credit card.
As a college student, a credit card can be dangerous. However, if used correctly, a credit card can help build credit which is necessary once you are looking to buy a house or car.
Try finding a credit card through your bank which will be safe and you can manage your card online.
Credit card are useful but when its comes to interest percentage it will effect, now possible to use debit cards for shopping so no need to worry about interest percentage.
